The location in the center of the city, very close to Centraal Station and to the bus for airport and the breakfast

The proximity to the central station and to the center of town= easy access. free access to internet. The breakfast was acceptable but there was not a wide enough selection of fruits (ie no bananas!)

The smell: there was a terrible smell of old smoke overall in the hotel and especially in my room. The rugs are old, smelly and dirty. The shower (hose), and the beds are old. The sheets did not seem very clean or they are old...The croissants were not good.

So close to station - able to leave luggage there on arrival in Antwerp and after checkout.

Found a shattered lightbulb and melted lampshade beside the bed - it was promptly changed when reported. Would have liked tea making facilities in room.

The hotel decor was very dated. While the bedding sheets in the room were clean, the rest of the room left a lot to be desired
